In 5756 (1996), Yeshivat Tel Aviv "Ma'aleh Eliahu" was founded by Rabbi Chaim Ganz and 20 students. The Yeshiva was founded due to the pressing need to truly bring together the different societies within the Jewish People, and from the understanding that Israel's cultural center is located in Tel Aviv. Today, the Yeshiva has 130 students and 30 married students.

בשנת תשנ"ו (1996) הוקמה 'הישיבה הגבוהה תל אביב, מעלה אליהו'.
את הישיבה הקים הרב חיים גנץ ועמו כ-20 בחורים. הקמת הישיבה נבעה מהצורך בחיבור אמתי בין חלקי העם, ומתוך הבנה כי מרכז התרבות הישראלי נמצא בעיר תל אביב.
כיום לומדים בישיבה כ-130 בחורים וכ-30 אברכים.
